Pringles wanted to make more than just a Super Bowl spot. So when Call of the Mustaches launched, we pulled off as many mustache-themed pranks as we could.

We launched “the most unhinged ad of the year,”* a week before the Super Bowl, which set off our chain reaction of stunts that kept Pringles in the headlines for the weeks leading up to and after the Super Bowl.

We created an Andy Reid billboard and made a four foot mustache fly IRL. Then we covered Kansas City in mustacheless Andy Reid billboards.
Prank 01
As news of the Chiefs going to the Super Bowl took off… so did Andy Reid’s mustache.
We took Guillermo’s mustache! And then led the country on a search to help find it. In partnership with the Jimmy Kimmel Live! we created a three part stunt that played out on the show over the course of the week leading up to the Super Bowl.

America helped search for the most iconic mustache in Late Night.
The moment our Super Bowl spot aired, mustaches began disappearing from brands across the internet.
It gave smaller brands a way to join the Super Bowl conversation without buying a spot of their own. We partnered with the social and creative teams behind 20 brands to develop and coordinate every post.
